      We would like the ability to disable this feature. So it is up to us include it or not in our wp-admin

      Our plugin already has this feature.
      In wp-admin, go to Shortcodes > Shortcode packages . There you will find the shortcode package checked. Uncheck it, and packaged shortcode will be disabled.
